“I Repeat Myself”

I’ve stumbled down this hall before,
But now I’m running more and more,
If only I could just recall who let me in,
‘Cause there’s a thousand unlocked doors,
But choosing one might cost me yours,
I wish that I could just decide and not repent

But I know myself too well to know for sure that I ain’t well,
And the way that I can tell is,
I repeat myself,
I know that I ain’t well when I repeat myself,
I repeat myself,
I know that I ain’t well

I’ve wrestled with this thought before,
But now I’m losing more and more,
If only I could just remember how to win,
‘Cause there’s a million different moves,
But making one will take me two,
I wish the voice inside my head would just relent

But I know myself too well to know for sure that I ain’t well,
And the way that I can tell is,
I repeat myself,
I know that I ain’t well when I repeat myself,
I repeat myself,
I know that I ain’t well

Listless rumination,
Leads to constant contemplation,
Now I’m sifting through the worries in my head
Restless instigation,
Has been testing all my patience,
And I’m waiting out the worst of all this dread

But the way through all this hell is to admit that I ain’t well,
And not repeat myself,
I repeat myself,
The way through all this hell is to admit that I ain’t well,
And not repeat myself,
I repeat myself
